Content Marketing Showcase

Content Marketing is at the core of what I am as a producer. In college, I studied Broadcast Journalism, hoping to make it someday as a long form news field producer, a la 60 Minutes or VICE News. Once I started working for Red Bull, those dreams were quickly pushed aside to make room for amazing skydives, jaw dropping stunts and powerful athlete stories that keep the audience engaged. Many of my video projects can be seen in my Video Showcase, but three pieces of work stand out below with a little more information about what they are and what went into producing them. Enjoy!

4 BELOW ZERO - 2014-2016

4 Below Zero takes you into the action and behind the training for the 2016 Season of Red Bull Crashed Ice – The Fastest Sport on Ice. Think you can lace up the skates and go toe to toe with these guys on the track? After seeing what Cam Naasz, Dean Moriarty, Scott Croxall and Matt Johnson go through chasing the Ice Cross Downhill World Championship, and just how technical the tracks have become, you might rethink things.

The series airs on Red Bull TV, redbull.com, redbullcrashedice.com and youtube.com/redbull

I served as the series executive producer and also produced the series in the field with renowned production company Boombox out of Montreal, QC, CA.

ORACLE OPENWORLD - 2016

At Oracle OpenWorld 2016, Oracle strived to transform the conference to match the expectations of it's consumer base. A newly redesigned Howard St event space, dubbed the Oracle Cloud Plaza, held host to the 50k+ attendees and featured an interactive Oracle Team USA space, a Cafe with bookable meeting spaces, a stage for demos, keynotes and education sessions and 5 jumbotrons of varying sizes (4 were in portrait, 1 was 1:1.5 ratio) that were live for 12-15 hours a day.

My role with Oracle OpenWorld was to plan, produce, program and deploy a content strategy that encompassed the Howard St jumbotrons and Oracle's social media networks. Through cohesive storytelling and detailed analysis of when and where to program, I constructed a creative plan that encompassed four major motifs and seventeen storylines and/or themes that were integrated into those motifs. Together with a team of project managers, field producers and a robust post-production staff, courtesy of Contend (a production company headquartered in LA), we produced 300+ assets in 12 weeks for the most immersive, informed and entertained Oracle OpenWorld yet.

SILK'N LIVE LAB

During the month of February, I joined Suite Partners in a freelance capacity to produce the Silk'n LiveLab - a series of nine live events and shows centered around innovative beauty brand: Silk'n.

We produced six live shows for facebook centered around health and wellness, comedy, stage performers, bridal season and fashion week. In addition, we did a private live-to-tape evening with leading mature women in their careers and two research nights: one for Silk'n customers and one for first time users in Gen Z.

In addition, we also developed and produced a series of closed set concepts including a short series called "This, Not That" and updated product demos in the style of the latest beauty bloggers on YouTube/Instagram.
